Single participant event
The event comprises of two rounds.
The Preliminary round comprises of 25 questions ( tie breaker round will be there if needed)
The questions will be from C, C++ and java.
The Final round will be coding round.
Judges decision will be Final.
Usage of gadgets will not be allowed
Advertisement is a means to exhibit creativity and prove why one must buy your product.
A team may consists of a maximum of 3-6 members
Teams must perform in the order of their respective lot number
Teams must advertise for the product that is specified to them on spot
Time duration of 4 minutes will be given as a preparation time
Enacting time will be about 4 minutes
If enacting time exceeds the given limit, points will be reduced
Teams maybe posed with questions regarding the worth of the product
If there is a draw teams will have a secondary round for final judgement
Selection of the best teams will be done by the judges
Prelims will be conducted based on number of participants
Participants should register with two members per team.
Preliminary round consists of 25 questions, purely technical. Four teams will be shortlisted
Round 1: General Engineering
Each team will be asked a question and for each right answer 10 points will be awarded
If fail to answer, the question will be passed to the next team with 5 points.
Round 2: Word Search
Jumbled Technical words will be given to each team; they should find 15 words in 1 minute
Ten points will be awarded. If fail to answer, the question will be passed to the next team with 5 points
This is an elimination round
Round 3: Odd One Out (Program with Output)
Three sets of program will be provided; the odd one should be identified
Twenty points will be awarded. If fail to answer, the question will be passed to the next team with 10 points
Round 4: Heuristics
This is a Buzzer round
Questions will be in the form of image, three clues will be given one by one
On Wrong or no answer the next clue will be given. After every clue the participants will get 30 seconds to answer
Correct answer after the first clue: 30
Wrong answer after the first clue: -30
Correct answer after the second clue: 20
Correct answer after the third clue: 10
No negative marking for second and third clues
If not answered, the question passes to the next team with 10 points
Round 5: Rapidfire
Each team will be asked five questions with 50 points

Rules and Regulations:
Participation for this event is open for final year and third year engineering and MCA students. Students from any engineering discipline/ branch may participate.
This is a team event. Each team would comprise of two members from the same institution.
The maximum page size of the paper is 12. Authors are advised to follow the IEEE conference paper guidelines for formatting . IEEE Paper Guidelines
The shortlisted participants are required to bring their presentation only be either in ppt or pptx format.
The presenters are required to submit their presentation slides to the organizing team at registration counter during the registration between 08:00-08:30 a.m.
The presentation can only be conducted by the presenter stated in the registration form.Presenter can find an alternative to present his/ her accepted papers, but the substitute presenter must be one of the authors stated in the registration form. Early acknowledgement is required if the presenters were to have an alternative to present his or her paper on the symposium day.
15 minutes presentation time slot includes 12 minutes of paper presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A session.
During each paper presentation session, there will be two signals (ring sound) given by a timekeeper. The first signal indicates there are only two minutes remaining for the presentation. The second signal indicates the end of the presentation and the author would have to end their presentation.
The presenters should be punctual for their presentation as scheduled and register with the respective event team 30 minutes before the event starts.
The Best Paper Award is under the judge and the organizers discretion.
Presenter should be in their formal attire during the presentation and must wear ID card of the parent institution along with symposium ID card
Leave Management System for Educational Organization
This app should have dashboard screen where a user can login with their credentials. Once the credentials are validated then the user can select the date for leave and submit the request with reasons. This app must have notification features to inform about the leave approval and cancellation by their Authorities.
At the beginning of the contest, teams will be provided with a problem statement and then proceed to develop a working android application for the competition.
Single person event
Rules / Protocols:
Participant are requested to develop the app prior to the event and should bring the source of the app in mail and execute in the system provided.
Participant will be given a few modification in modules at the beginning of event
Only Android application has to be developed using Android Studio which is provided in the lab.
Participants are not entertained to take code from internet.
Participants are not allowed to use internet (in PC or any wireless device).
Participants are not allowed to use USB or any medium to copy the code.
The judge’s decision is final.
Any breach of the rules, the prize will be awarded to the runner up.
Time duration is one hour.
Treasure - As it goes!!
Participants should have some basic knowledge about computers.
Each team consists of 2 members.
There will be two rounds.
The first round will be the prelims. The teams who completes the first round will proceed to the second round.
All the clues will be located inside the computer itself.
There will be time limit to find the treasure. The team who finds the treasure first will be considered as the winners.
No clue can be skipped in between.
Some rules may be subjected to change based on the circumstances.

Each team will play in a knockout tournament and the winning team will advance to the next round

Rules for meme creation
The event will be in two rounds
In Round 1 Participants must create a meme for a given scenario
Meme should be developed using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premium Pro
Images and Video Templates would be provided by the organizers
There is no restriction for the number of images/video clips used to create a meme
In Round 2, participants will be given a logo
The participants will have to animate the given logo using flash within 15 minutes
Any vulgarity in the content will lead to elimination
