ABOUT:
With the rapid expansion of the technology sector the demand for altruistic electrical engineers is soaring. The EEE department offers an unquantifiable benefit to the society by building on the idea of system improvisation. The department prides itself in having instituted various state of the art laboratories equipped with the latest software. The EEE department of LICET organizes STROM-2K19 -A national level technical symposium every academic year to provide a platform where budding engineers can evince their technical skills and knowledge.

Line Follwer

GENERAL RULES:


1. A team may consist maximum of four members.
2.Students from different educational institutions can form a team.
3.Participants should bring their ID card.
4.Participants should bring their own robot.

EVENT RULES:


1.The path to be traced(black line) is of 20mm width.
2.Participants will be eliminated if their bot does not start tracing the line within 10 sec.
3.Points will be reduced if the bot is touched while tracking the tracks and for skipping the tracks.
4.Judges decision will be final.
5.Change of batteries and modification to the code are allowed but the game has to be restarted.

BOT SPECIFICATION:


1.The dimension of the bot should be maximum 25*15*15.
2.Only ready made sensors and microcontrollers should be used.
3.Usage of ready made robot is not allowed.
4.Maximum 4 IR sensor can be used.
5.Maximum four DC motor is allowed.
6.Battery capacity should be 12V.

Chamber Of Secrets

GENERAL RULES:


1.A team may consist of maximum four members.
2.Students from different educational institutions can form a team.
3.Participants should bring their ID card.

EVENT RULES:


1.A room is divided into four sections.
2.And in each room you'll be given a task to complete.
3.Participants should solve the puzzle in each room to go to the next room.
4.Participants should escape each room within a certain time limit to continue the game.
5.Judges decision will be final.

Snake And Ladder

GENERAL RULES:


1.There must be six or seven teams.
2.Each team should consist three to four members.
3.ID card is compulsory.
4.Electronic components like (breadboard,resisters,etc) will be provided.

EVENT RULES:


1.Each team will be given chance to roll the die.
2.According to the number in the die,the team will move to the respective position (in snake and ladder chart).
3.When the team reaches the certain point,a hint will be given, the team should solve the hint and components will be provided to them.
4.Winner will be announced based on how fast they built the circuit with the correct output.

Non-Technical Events

Deathly Hallows

GENERAL RULES:


1.Maximum number of participants in a team is four.
2.Participants should not touch anything inside the crime setup room.
3.Registeration should be done online.
4.Carrying notepad and pen will be helpful.

EVENT RULES:


1.A set of riddle type qustions will displayed in the projector one by one;the group saying the correct answer will be allowed to enter into the crime setup room.
2.Each team will be allowed inside the crime room for 5 minutes to monitor the crime scene.
3.After investigation, the team will be given some time to come up with a theory.
4.The best logical and creative theory about the crime scene will be awarded.

Surprise Events

GENERAL RULES:


1.Maximum number of participants in a team is four.
2.Registration should be done online.
3.Participants should bring their college id card.

EVENT RULES:


Surprise Event is an event in which the stages of this event are revealed only on the day of the symposium.People with good cultural skills and general knowledge can participate in this event. For the final winner, an amazing prize is awaited. The interesting part of this event is that, in each level there is a Surprise for the participants
